2013 Pictures of the Golf Course

Finished product

We have finally finished repainting the maintenance facility shop floor. We had to get creative with the Logo. We didn't want to spend several hundred dollars on a stencil, so we improvised. We copied the Brookstone Logo to transperant paper and used a projector mounted on the ladders to display the logo. The staff did a Great Job in improving the shop.

Repainting Golf Course Maintenance Facility Shop Floor

The staff is also spending some time inside our maintenance facility. During closures, we like to maximize our time repairing, painting or improving the golf course maintenance facility. We are in the process of repainting our shop floor. We plan to have this completed by tomorrow. I will post more pictures of the finished product tomorrow.

Repainting Tee markers

Although we are closed and the greens are covered, the staff is continuing to make subtle improvements to the golf course. Here is a picture of Augusto and Steve applying a fresh coat of paint to the tee markers. Great Job Guys!

Covering Greens

We have covered the greens for protection against the very cold temperatures we will experience over the next couple of days. The temperatures are supposed to plunge very quickly and get as low as 5 degrees (below zero with the windchill). These record temperatures have not been experienced in over 30 years. We hope to remove the covers later this week. The staff and I appreciate your patience and understanding. I would like to give a big THANK YOU to the maintenance staff and the cart department for their hard work in applying the covers. Good Luck & Stay Warm.

Bunker Renovation

The following pictures display the process of renovating a poor draining bunker. The bunkers will receive new drainage, sand liner and angular sand to prevent erosion. The sand liner is installed to protect the angular bunker sand from eroding and subsurface contamination. We will be installing the sand once the bunkers on #17 are finished with this same process.
