Golf Course Renovations Finalized
Over the next few months, there will be significant changes to the golf course at Brookstone Golf & Country Club. We have finalized the cost and scope of work for the renovations implemented to the golf course. We will be renovating all green side bunkers. Holes #5 (Back Right) & #6 (Back Left) bunkers will be converted to grass depressions. The renovation will include new drainage, installation of erosion fabric and clean white sand. The cart paths are also in much needed improvement. These will require removal, overlay and concrete installation. These areas are throughout the golf course. Please visit the blog for the specific areas of the cart path renovation. One of the main issues we experience is shade. Shade has impeded our ability to grow top quality turfgrass. We are removing several trees at #5 green, #6 tee box, #7 tee box and #11 green. Once the trees are removed, we will install Zeon Zoysia to the teeing surfaces. Other areas that will receive upgrades in turfgrass are #2, #4 & #14 teeing surfaces. We are also in the process of upgrading the artificial matting located on the Driving Range Tee. These renovations along with the tennis and clubhouse improvements will provide the membership a quality experience at Brookstone Golf & Country Club. The staff and I are very excited with the improvements. Please view the maintenance blog for updates and pictures during these wonderful improvements to the Brookstone Golf & Country Club facility.
