What a Difference a Year Makes

Last year during the renovation, we installed Zoysia to many tees and removed trees to improve turfgrass growth. Below are pictures of #7 & #17 tees. This is the first time these teeing areas have had this much turfgrass coming out of the winter season. This will greatly improve the playability and aesthetics of the golf course. The other tees (#2, #4, #5, #6 &#14) are also much better than they have been in the past. #10 Blue Tee is the only tee that was grassed last year in poor shape. This is mainly due to shade (more trees to be removed) and drainage. We will address this situation in the coming weeks.
