Golf Course Update

Last night we received a significant amount of rain in a short amount of time (An Estimated 1.75"). In the past, this type of storm would cause serious damage to the bunkers. The drainage system and fabric has really made a HUGE difference in repairing the bunkers and disabling the staff from concentrating on other maintenance practices. Even with the storm event we were able to concentrate on mowing the golf course. The only damage we received was a huge limb falling on the Tennis/Activity Center. This was resolved very swiftly. We have also lowered the height of the rough by 1/4" to accommodate our members and provide a little more density in rough areas. Although we missed a few days of rough mowing (Member/Guest Tournament), we should have the entire golf course mowed very soon.
