Vertical Mowing & Topdressing the Greens

Next week we will be implemented our first vertical mowing of the season. Vertical mowing is necessary for: smoothness, removal of thatch and improving the aesthetics of the putting surfaces. We will double verticut, double cut, topdress, drag and apply fertilizer. This is a typical cultural practice for putting surfaces. Below are some pictures of the process.
